"Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not easily broken." Ecclesiastes 4:12
The Parkway Presbyterian Preschool Snoopy classroom is a colorful and inviting space for our Tricord Club.
At the first meeting, as Club Members entered the room, interesting activities related to the day's topic of plants and animals were available for self-directed leisure.
(On the Menu Bar above, see the drop-down menu under the Meeting PICS to view meetings.)
Our non-denominational Gospel Project Bible study was on the creation of the world, plants, and animals.
Lawrence Trosclair, Landscape Architect, talked with us about sensory gardens. The club members explored the textures and aromas of various plants and learned interesting facts about them. Our speaker generously surprised the children by donating the plants for them to take home.
The service project at the first meeting was to co-create our club rules. The club members also drew pictures as thank-you notes for our speaker, musician, and the Parkway Presbyterian staff.
